Tom Befi comes to the Brothers from the Princeton Garden Statesmen and Big Apple Chorus. Having only been singing Barbershop since retiring in 2012, Tom has found his home away from home.
Mr. Befi is the President of the Garden Statesmen and the VP of Music for the Garden Statesmen.
While not having much formal training, music has been a big part of his life throughout school and with family through the years. Mr. Befi holds a Batchelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY.
Mike is a fairly new Brother, having joined in 2018. We are lucky to have Mike, he is a talented musician and an all around great guy!
In addition to his role with BIH, serves as Treasurer for the Atlantic Harmony Brigade. Has been a member of BIH for 4 years. Has previously served as VP of Music and Secretary for other charters. Former member of Red Bank, NJ and Walnut Creek, CA chapters and sings bari or lead in a few quartets. Married 46 years and enjoys spending time with his 2 children and 4 grand children when he is not singing or on the golf course or engaged with tech startups. In a previous life spent 11 years at Bell Laboratories in Computer Science before moving to the financial industry to develop analytical algorithms and manage a group utilizing AI techniques to develop new sources of alpha for scientifically managed funds. PhD in Cognitive Science.
Mike is a stalwart member of the Brothers in Harmony, willing to do whatever it takes to keep the chorus going and make it better.
Ray has done a great job supporting chorus operations for a few years now, he will be a great VP Operations for the Brothers in Harmony!
Alan is also the VP of operations for the Garden Statesmen. Always ready to help and willing to do whatever job is necessary to further the goals of the chorus. Alan also has a great deal of musical acumen.
Did you know that Bud once sang with the VM! Bud is a great asset to the board of directors and has a great attitude as well as experience as VP Music for the Vocal Majority. His knowledge and expertise are invaluable to the board and the chorus.
Ed is a huge help to the chorus, from fundraising to idea generation and being an all around supportive and wonderful guy. We couldn't have anyone better to represent the chorus at large on the board of directors than Ed.

Larry was a great president of the Brothers in Harmony for 10 years. We are lucky to have him to lean on for advice and direction as we move forward.
